Full flow control valve for gas consists of an “Excess Flow” safety system. It is an automatic safety device that instantly blocks the gas flow of the installation system whenever the preset flow value is being exceeded.
LDC – excess flow valve installed inside the gas system, always remains open also at max. nominal flow rate VGAS. When the VSGAS cut-off flow value is exceeded, the LDC instantly shuts off the gas flow, as a protective measure against leakage and with it a fire. The device is automatically restarted by the overflow orifice. The reopening pressure is set via the overflow value VL, as soon as the causes of the error in the LDC have been eliminated. The main features of the LDC gas excess flow valve are reliability and safety in continuous operation.
Our 4m3 and 6m3 LDCs have been subjected to 400mbar pressure in the APPLUS laboratories and have passed the test, under the requirements of the UNE 60719: 2022 standard “Accessories for joining valves and elements of receiving installations using gaseous fuels”.
