STAINLESS STEEL CORRUGATED

The Cats® system is a complete assembly system for the transfer of gaseous and liquid substances. It is a simple and affordable alternative for connecting boilers, solar and air-conditioning systems, heat pumps, potable and grey water systems, etc. The Cats® system is suitable for new installations as well as for repairs or complete overhauls of established systems.

Our corrugated pipes are produced with high quality materials and are certified (DVGW) in Germany for use in gas installations made of AISI 316L as well as drinking water systems made of AISI 304 and AISI 316L. Parallel corrugation allows the pipe to be bent easily and quickly by hand, without the need for tools. The smallest possible bend radius without causing a constriction of the cross-section in the pipe is equal to 1.20 to 1.70 of the outside diameter.

Professional workmanship and the use of appropriate accessories ensure a secure connection. The characteristics of the steel used in our products offer potential for various applications.
It is especially recommended for the joints of boilers, solar panels, compressed air systems, heat pumps, fan coils, water pipe coils, aerothermal systems, etc.

Cats® corrugated steel pipe system features

Versatility of use

A single system and a single press tool is sufficient for on-site installation of custom-made pipe for different media, subject to different conditions and using different internal diameters, making it a versatile product for the hydro-thermo-sanitary industry. Cats® corrugated pipes are ideal for water distribution systems, gas distribution systems and solar thermal systems, all with a single assembly system.

Pressure and corrosion resistance

AISI 304 and AISI 316L stainless steel is known for its resistance to corrosion and high pressures, it is optimal for use in humid environments, such as in plumbing work.

Slight

Cats® tubing is lighter than other materials such as copper or traditional rigid steel tubing, reducing transportation and installation.

Flexible

It is manually molded to fit various plant configurations without the need for pressfitting or complex welding. This reduces the risk of leakage and simplifies the work to be done.

Reduced installation costs

Ease of installation helps to economize on labor costs, saving money and material resources.

Regulations

Reduction of pressure losses

The bending radii of the corrugations give the Cats® corrugated pipe maximum performance during the bending phase, avoiding pinching and the closure of the passage with a reduction of the internal diameter. They do not lose flow.

Durability and resistance

Manufactured with high quality steels AISI 304 and AISI 316L, they have a long service life.

Sustainability

Steel is 100% recyclable, i.e. after the recycling process, the same material with the same quality is obtained again and again. This makes products made mostly of steel so durable as well as reusable.
