The K88 ball valve with thermal fuse is ideal for gas installations where a fire safety system is required, as it has a thermal fuse that shuts off the gas supply at temperatures above +95ºC.

The built-in ball valve is a quarter-turn shutoff valve that uses a rotating ball to control and shut off the flow of gas. The gas flow can be shut off manually. The thermal fuse interrupts the gas flow in case of an incident or excessive demand.

The K88 ball valve with thermal fuse is perfect against accidental breakage of the pipe downstream of the appliance tap, as it has an integrated safety shutter that automatically stops the gas flow in case of breakage, tearing, cutting of the pipe after the tap and exceeding the flow rate of 1.6 m3, preventing dangerous gas leaks. For mobile gas equipment connection applications and especially recommended for installations with multilayer piping.
