Solar thermal systems use the sun’s energy to heat water. In homes these systems are used to supply hot water for showers, washing and as feed for heating systems. Solar heating systems can also be used to drive steam turbines.
AZ CATS corrugated steel pipe for solar systems is based on:
Coils of double corrugated stainless steel AISI 304 stainless steel pipe 0.3 mm thick pre-insulated with:
Fibrous PES coatings withstanding temperature of the conveyed medium: -60 to +200°C (+220°C in the short term) and ambient temperature: -60 to +80°C (+100°C short-term).
Thermal conductivity: λ40 °C = 0.037 Wm-1K-1.
Reaction to fire according to DIN 4102: class B2.
Wall thickness: 20 mm for all diameters.
UV resistant, suitable for outdoor use.
In addition to the CATS 120 machine connection press system, we have 2 brass fittings connection systems for connecting CATS systems to other systems: C-Klip system which is a quick coupling system and the O-ring system with compression rings.
The sealing elements (Kingerslin seals) are resistant to the high temperatures and fluids transported that characterize solar thermal systems.
